Climate - Given it's unique positioning between the Cascade and Columbia mountain ranges, the Okagnagan Valley lies in a rain shadow that sees a very low annual average rainfall. Spring is often _________. In summer it heats up, average temperatures reaching between 30* and 40* degrees in July and August. The intensity of summer is brushed away by light, breezy, warm winds. Winter ushers in a dusty desert paradise, typically seeing blue skies sitting between averages of -10 *C to 5*C.
